Frameset was ridden and raced by @notchas and is the second prototype of the Cinelli x Mash Steel Work Frame before they went into production

“This was the first prototype for the Cinelli/MASH work frame. Hand made in Italy one of one. We wanted to design one bike to rule them all, good at alleycats, crits, trackcx, and strong enough to stand up to year round messenger work. The geo of this frame was much too slack for crit racing, and even alleycat racing. but it was great for Trackcx and super comfortable. Aesthetically the sloping top tube was not our jam, and the fork was a work in progress, as we wanted to keep the flat crown style of a NJS fork. This was also the first prototype of the removable canti mounts - the original ones were not great and the ones on the frame came from later production runs. We also wanted the frame to patina quickly, to emulate a messenger work bike that's been ridden for years. So we designed the frame rust under the clear coat. I rode this for 9 months and it got traded around other MASH riders and TCB riders.”
